Events & Performances

As a choir we perform occasionally, with our neighbour choir from Winchcombe, though no-one is obliged to do so if they prefer not to.  It's always very rewarding and a lot of fun!

And again at Christmas 2023 - such great acoustics!

And in May 2022 Pershore and Winchcombe Choirs sang together in a concert in aid of Ukraine at St Andrew's Church in Ombersley.

'Musical Fusion' - the Mayor of
Pershore's Charity Concert 2018

We were lucky enough to be invited to sing with our sister choir, Winchcombe Community Choir, at the Mayor of Pershore's Charity variety concert, Musical Fusion, in March 2018. We were joined by the Good Vibrations Hearing and Deaf Choir and African drumming group Drum Love.  An amazing concert in an amazing venue

Singing at Croome Court Christmas Market, December 2016...

Just a bit chilly at Croome this year (!) but the choir had a great time singing, with sister choir Winchcombe Community Choir, to a very appreciative and festive audience.

All smiles for our publicity shot in the foyer of Number 8 where Pershore Community Choir Used to sing.

...and the more extrovert among us (!) joining in the fun for the Calamity Jane Sing-along film performance in July.

Just before Christmas 2015 the choir sang at
Salwarpe Village Hall on 11th November...

In a concert of two halves - the first featuring songs from our general repertoire and the second heralding the Christmas season with numbers ranging from traditional medieval carols to a Finnish 'reindeer calling song' - Pershore Community Choir entertained a very appreciative audience at an event organised to raise money for Save the Children, Nepal.

Pershore Community Choir's Christmas festivities in 2015 continued...

with singing at Croome Court Christmas Market on 6th December and culminated with their performance with sister Choir Winchcombe Community Choir at Sudeley Castle, Winchcombe on 18th December at the magical Carols at the Castle event.

The choirs sang, the Cheltenham Salvation Army Band played, and carol-singing echoed around the beautiful floodlit ruins of the medieval banquetting hall  What a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas - and more than £1500 was collected to help the Salvations Army's work at Christmas.
